Fortnightly Update #22
Welcome to the twenty-second music update of the year
So, the bad news: I am delaying announcement and release of my not-so-secret upcoming pack of music. And, the good news: The delay is because I want to bring the Far East into the scope and add two more pieces.
This has been a fairly rash choice, so I don't have a timeframe yet, but I think it will round-out the whole pack of music quite nicely. The Far East is not an area that is musically familiar to me, so if you have some pieces that you really like of that style, please send them over for me to listen to as inspiration! Because this will be a learning experience and a musical journey for me, I may seek to openly share my progress in the coming weeks. We shall see!
Otherwise, the constant expansion of music mods continues, with Imperator: Rome now receiving the Scandinavia Music Pack!
This is an interesting one because Scandinavia does not really feature in the game, but I felt it was still important to capture the spirit of the music anyway. Just imagine the rising unknown threat in the north when you play! Secondly, Imperator is no longer in active development and unfortunately Paradox did not complete the full integration of music moddability into the game. As such, the music is not contextual. Not even war / peace. Sadly this is the Imperator life
But the music mod is there for you to play, so please pick it up and show Carthage the true meaning of raiding!
Of course, following the recent trend, Themes of the Old World will drop into Imperator: Rome in two weeks. And the cycle will continue on the next game and the next game and the next game... until my new pack of music is ready to release.
Happy listening, Imperator fans!
Enjoy!
