Fortnightly Update #11-2022
Welcome to the eleventh music update of 2022
It's been two weeks since the album released and in that time I have not been idle! Read on for what's coming up.
But first, a super quick recap on the release. I'll admit it was not as popular as I'd have hoped, but I am nonetheless very warmed by the small group of people who have particularly taken to the music. I have definitely learnt from this release, so hopefully I can help more of you enjoy the coming music in the future. With that in mind, the next planned album will be a return to form and will be completely EU4 focussed.
Now, onto a music update. As you have likely seen, the Ante Bellum 1.8 update trailer is premiering next Saturday at 6pm CET. Like previous AB trailers, the trailer music has been composed by me, in the style of the update theme. I'm excited for you to hear the music and see what you think of its suitability! Also, during the album release I worked on a non-eu4 commission, which I plan to release toward the end of the month. Similar to the work I did for Ak`kadye, this piece is a national anthem, but blended with elements of a militaristic march. Keep you eyes/ears out for it in the coming weeks!
I also started working on a piece of music titled A Brief History of Everything and that's all I'm going to say on that.
Finally, the CK3 Music Expanded project is on the cusp of kicking into gear and I'm really excited to soon be sticking myself into some middle eastern and asian-style music themes, hopefully some of which I will share with you here. You'll definitely be hearing more about this in the future.
