Welcome to the fourteenth music update of 2022
The Past
Over the last two weeks I've been working on a bunch of different things:
A baroque piece of music for a Victoria 3 mod
A short snip of anime-like vocal music
Some Norse chanting
A glorious Roman march for Imperium Universalis
A sketch of some Norse combat music for CK3 Music Expanded.
Of all these things, you can listen to the CK3 Norse combat music below! If you're a music nerd like me you'll notice it's a similar beat/rhythm to the Isengard theme from Lord of the Rings.
The Future
Over the next two weeks I'm hoping to wrap up some of the above pieces. My primary focus is the Imperium Universalis main theme, which I'd like to release soon. However, the Victoria 3 mod community is bustling and I have three more theme requests to take care of as well.
Speaking of, Victoria 3 releases in just a few days. It is my intention to bring all major music mods over to the game as soon as possible. That means you'll be bale to enjoy things like Themes of the Old Worldand Ante Bellum from day 1! However, there is no in-game music player so it will all be a bit random. I'll ping when this is ready.
Additionally, I will be aiming to update the Music Mod Creation tool by the end of the month.
On the CK3 MSE project we are slowly stepping forward. We are on the market at moment to locate some more composers who will help us get through all 168 pieces of music we need to write. Once the team is assembled I expect it will be all-go!
Finally, I just want to note that I'll be away for most of November. There will be another update in 2 weeks time, but not until December after that (Christmas...?! )
Enjoy!
