Anbennar Main Theme
Anbennar has spent the last two weeks being looked at by my wingman, so there is not much to update there. However, in the meantime...
Imperialism: Reinvigorated
I have started developing my ideas for this music, with two minutes of music already delivered for review (but I'm keeping it all hush-hush secret for now!). The brief runs along the lines of "Imperialistic, with a colonial breeze". Enter the theme for Iberia "Land of Wonder" from the Themes of the Old World mod, which stands for exploration and colonialism. And to begin the imperialistic process I've dropped it into a very irregular 9/8 beat (2+2+2+3) and pulled up the tempo. See the snip of the opening 6 bars and listen below! I'm excited to keep working on this piece, because it's so varied and interesting. Plus, it's fun to take my existing tunes and spin them in a completely different direction.
Over the next two weeks I hope to focus again on Anbennar, with some I:R on the side. But we shall see!
